Protected with U.V. resistant PP outer covering, the core single rubber with added U.V. resistant agents will withstand all types of weather conditions. Whether W55 is used outside or inside the Monoflex PP will suit any situation.
The PP covering offers good protection to abrasion, enabling the shock cord to be used in all types of situations, from industrial fields such as tarps on trucks, banner lashing for advertising or for leisure purposes such as sport nets or bicycle tensioners.
W55 has the unique feature to be made of a single solid rubber core which offers a cleaner cut than a multi thread shock cord. The single rubber core keeps the round shape with a clean cut, making it a perfect shock cord to add hooks or any other fittings. Its soft touch will ease the work when fitted on tarpaulins or used with a storage net.

W55 offers the best strength when stretched to its breaking point. This means that you will need to apply high strain to break the cord making it perfect for all industrial uses as well as for safety purposes.
